Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Innovation Technologies LLC (“Tasnet”, “we”) handles personal data on the tasnet.io website and in the Tasnet guest Wi-Fi service. Separate policies apply to the Tasnet Spot mobile application.

1. Who we are

Tasnet is operated by Innovation Technologies LLC. For any privacy question write to info@tasnet.io.

2. Data from this website

When you send a request through a form on this site, we receive the details you enter: name, company, phone number, email, number of locations and your message.

We use them only to reply to you, prepare a quote and arrange a demo. We don’t add you to newsletters without asking.

The website chat is provided by our own Chatwoot installation. Messages you send there are stored to let our team answer you.

3. Data in the guest Wi-Fi service

When a person signs in to Wi-Fi run on Tasnet, we process data on behalf of the venue that provides the network (our customer). Depending on the venue’s settings this may include:

  • phone number, email or account identifier used to sign in
  • answers the guest chooses to give: name, date of birth, gender, survey answers
  • device identifiers (MAC address), device type and operating system
  • time, duration and volume of sessions, and the hotspot used
  • traffic and connection logs required by law for public networks

This data is used to provide internet access, identify users as the law requires, show the venue its statistics and run the communications the venue sets up. The venue decides which data is collected and for what purpose, and is responsible for informing its guests.

4. Sharing

We don’t sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • the venue whose network the guest used
  • providers that deliver SMS, calls and messages for sign-in
  • hosting and infrastructure providers that run the service
  • state authorities, when required by applicable law

5. Storage and security

Data is kept as long as needed to provide the service and for the periods set by law for communication logs. Access is limited to staff who need it, and connections to the service are encrypted.

6. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing messages. Guests of a venue can also contact the venue directly. Write to info@tasnet.io and we’ll reply within 30 days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its effective date.
